Roger Lockhart has always felt a little different from the rest, a quiet observer of life’s beauty, especially the wonders of nature. From a young age, he found joy in the simple things: watching birds in flight and sharing breathtaking sunsets with his wife and family. His love for storytelling began early, writing his first heartfelt piece at just five years old.

One of his most treasured memories is a moment shared with his late mother. In his twenties, she revealed a small, folded piece of paper adorned with flowers and birds—something he didn’t even remember writing. It was a poem he had composed in kindergarten, describing how deeply he loved his mother. As she read the words aloud, tears filled her eyes. She told him that out of all eight of her children, none had ever shown the same depth of emotion and God-given talent at such a young age. That moment left a lasting imprint on Roger’s heart.

Today, Roger writes with that same passion and sincerity, hoping to touch others through the power of words. His stories are not just reflections of his experiences, but also heartfelt offerings to the memory of his mother and the beauty of everyday life.
